Conference schedule starts tonight

Jordan Andrews has three game-winning goals vs. Drury.
A demanding non-conference schedule is finally over for the Rockhurst men as the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule starts tonight (7:30) at Bourke Field against Drury.

The Hawks (1-3) split two games at home last weekend, defeating Colorado-Colorado Springs 4-1 and falling 2-1 to Fort Hays State. Drury (1-3) posted its first win of the season last Sunday at Truman State by a 1-0 score.

Rockhurst has not lost to Drury since 2011 with the Hawks holding a 9-0-1 advantage. The one tie was decided by a shootout win over the Panthers in the NCAA Tournament in 2016 in Hays, Kansas.

Senior midfielder Jordan Andrews scored the winning goal in each of the Hawks' last three wins over Drury. Andrews leads the team this year with two goals and 13 shots.

Rockhurst ends the weekend with a short trip to Southwest Baptist on Sunday. The Bearcats have dropped their first three games of the season.

Last season, Rockhurst and Southwest Baptist played to a 1-1 tie at Bourke Field. The Hawks posted a 2-0 win at SBU in 2019.

Live stats and live video will be available for both games. Check the Rockhurst web site for the game links.
