Arand selected to Academic All-District Team

Audrey Arand posted 769 career kills.

Rockhurst's Audrey Arand has been named to the Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA).

The award is the first Academic All-District honor for Arand, who is a biology major with a 3.99 grade point average.

Arand posted 769 kills in 100 career matches for the Hawks. The senior from Union, Missouri played on two NCAA Midwest Regional championship teams and one GLVC Championship team.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the fcourt and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early July.
