Verlicchi named CoSIDA Academic All-District

Senior midfielder Federico Verlicchi is a Business Administration major.
Rockhurst's Federico Verlicchi has been named to the Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA).

The award is the first Academic All-District honor for Verlicchi, who is a Business Administration major with a 3.76 grade point average.

Verlicchi was a Second Team All-GLVC selection in 2019. The senior midfielder from Porto Corsini, Italy scored 18 points in 48 career games for the Hawks. Verlicchi assisted on game-winning goals in the last two games of 2021 spring season.

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early July.
