Hawks finish 10th at GLVC Championship

The Hawks completed the three rounds of stroke play at 951.

The Rockhurst men's golf team finished 10th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Stroke Play Championship Monday at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri. The Hawks completed the three rounds of stroke play at 951 (321-315-315).

Luke Brugman finished in 21st individually to lead the Hawks. Brugman fired a final-round 79 to finish at 230 after shooting a 79 and 72 in the first two rounds.

Brett Blau tied for 37th at 236 (84-81-71) and Jake Junge placed 49th with a 243 score (81-79-83). Cooper Stiles tied for 54th at 247 (80-85-82) and Mac Piles placed 57th at 248 (81-83-84) to round out the Rockhurst team.

Indianapolis finished first in stroke play at 880, followed by Maryville at 882. Missouri-St. Louis was third at 894, while Missouri S&T was fourth at 895. The top four teams advanced to medal play on Tuesday, April 20.
