Maryville men post 2-0 win over Hawks

Maryville scored off a corner kick midway through the second half and added another goal five minutes later in posting a 2-0 victory over Rockhurst Sunday at RU's Bourke Field.

Mirza Hasecic headed in a corner kick in front of the goal to give the Saints a 1-0 lead in the 67th minute.

Hasecic drilled a shot from 35 yards out in the 72nd minute for the Saints' second goal.  

Rockhurst finished with three shots with two shots coming from Elluan Martins Gomes. The Saints posted 13 shots and five shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Fabio D'Errico finished with three saves for the Hawks.

Rockhurst (1-2-1) next plays at Lindenwood on Friday night.
