Defense carries Tritons to 2-0 win over Hawks

Missouri-St. Louis scored two goals in the first 50 minutes in posting a 2-0 victory over Rockhurst in men's soccer Sunday in St. Louis.

Bradley Fritsche opened the scoring with a goal in the 19th minute. UMSL's Zach Druhe put the Hawks in a two-goal deficit with a goal in the 50th minute.

Rockhurst finished with four shots, including two shots in the last 12 minutes from Max Pycior and Collin Chrun. The Tritons posted eight shots and six shots on goal.

Fabio D'Errico finished with four saves in goal for the 1-4-1 Hawks, who return home to play McKendree on Friday night.
