Men open weekend play in Indiana

The Hawks await Southern Indiana on Friday.

It's back on the road for the Rockhurst men's soccer team as the Hawks travel east to play Southern Indiana (Friday at 5 p.m.) and McKendree (Sunday at 2:30 p.m.).

The Hawks (4-5-1, 3-2-1 GLVC) were shut out twice at home last weekend, tying Missouri-St. Louis 0-0 and losing to Lindenwood, 3-0.

Rockhurst has won eight of its last 12 meetings with Southern Indiana (4-4, 3- GLVC). The two teams played to 1-1 ties in their last two encounters. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 21-2-5.

The Hawks will face McKendree (4-2-3, 4-2-1 GLVC) in Lebanon, Illinois for the first time since the 2018 season. Last season, Rockhurst and McKendree played to a 0-0 tie at Bourke Field. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 6-2-1.
