Freshman Ben Elgas led the Rockhurst men's golf team to a fifth-place finish at the Virginia McCoy Fall Invitational at the National Golf Club in Parkville, Missouri.

The Hawks shot a 297 in the second round to finish with a 611 team score. Bethany College won the team title with a 600 team score.

Elgas shot a 75 in the first round and a 74 in the second round for a 159 score. Caleb Schmid tied for seventh with a 151. Jack Junge finished 13th with a 154. Brett Blau tied for 24th at 157. Luke Brugman and Mac Piles tied for 37th at 162.
