Indianapolis notches 3-0 win over Hawks

Indianapolis remained unbeaten as the second-ranked Greyhounds collected a 3-0 victory over Rockhurst in men's soccer Sunday at Bourke Field.

The Greyhounds (10-0-1, 8-0-1 GLVC) scored in the 26th minute on a 10-yard header shot off a right cross. UIndy posted five of its seven shots in the first half.

Indianapolis added two goals in the final seven minutes, scoring an own goal in the 84th minute and on an 18-yard shot in the 89th minute.

Rockhurst finished with 10 shots and three shots on goal. Alessandro Macchioni led the Hawks with three shots. Connor Brummett added two shots and one shot on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Peter Baker posted one save in the first half

The Hawks (4-9-1, 3-6-1 GLVC) play at Quincy on Friday night.
