Hawks bring momentum into weekend play

Fabio D'Errico has three consecutive shutout wins.
Riding a three-game winning streak, the Rockhurst men's soccer team returns home to host Missouri-St. Louis on Friday (7:30 p.m.) and Lindenwood on Sunday (2:30 p.m.).
 
The Hawks (4-4, 3-1 GLVC) have shut out their last three opponents while scoring eight goals. The last two victims were Maryville (2-0) and Southwest Baptist (4-0).

Junior midfielder Chase Klusman earned GLVC Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring five points last week. Senior goalkeeper Fabio D'Errico was selected the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week after posting a pair of shutouts.

UMSL (3-4, 2-3 GLVC) is coming off a 3-2 loss to Quincy last Sunday. The Tritons have won the last two meetings with Rockhurst, though the Hawks have a 14-6-4 lead in the series since 1998.

Lindenwood (2-4, 2-3 GLVC) has won its last two games after opening the season with four losses. Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 3-2-1.
