Hawks return to Bourke Field Friday vs. CSU-Pueblo

Marianna Anderson and the Hawks look to improve to 4-2 in RMAC play Friday vs. CSU-Pueblo.

The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team hosts Colorado State-Pueblo Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Bourke Field.

The Hawks (6-6, 3-2 RMAC) will look to return to the win column after falling to nationally-ranked Regis last Saturday. Rockhurst is currently fourth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings, trailing only Regis, Lindenwood and Colorado Mesa, who are a combined 31-1 on the year.

The Thunderwolves from CSU-Pueblo enter Friday's game with a record of 4-5 (1-2 RMAC).

The high-powered Hawks offense is averaging 12.8 goals per game this season, led by Logan Derosia (34 goals), Marianna Anderson (32 goals) and Hannah Miller (27 goals).

Defensively, Rockhurst will look to force the Thunderwolves into mistakes, an area in which Jaylin Johnson (14 caused turnovers), Bunga Spencer (14 CTs), Audrey Ford (13 CTs) and Hanna Meek (13 CTs) have excelled this season.
