Jack Junge finished in second place to lead the Rockhurst men's golf team to a second place finish at the Baker Spring Invitational Tuesday at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.

Junge fired a 71 in the first round and a 72 in the second round to finish with a 36-hole score of 143.

Rockhurst shot a 292 in the first round and a season-best 291 in the second round for an overall score of 583, which is a new school record for 36 holes. The 583 team score surpasses the 585 set in 2006-07 at the Quincy Hawk Fall Invitational.

Alex Graf and Michael Silberberg also placed in the top 10. Graf came in seventh with a 146 (81-76), while Silberberg tied for 10th place at 148 (72-76).
