The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team showcased a balanced offense in cruising to a 26-0 win over Johnson & Wales with 13 players scoring goals.
The Hawks started fast, jumping out to a 10-0 lead midway through the first half as
Audrey Ford found the back of the net at the 14:28 mark. Rockhurst would carry a 16-0 lead into halftime, and continue to dominate possession in the second half.
Ford led the way with four goals.
Logan Derosia,
Helen Krause and
Alex Tetu each tallied three goals.
Marianna Anderson,
Kelly Moore,
Hannah Miller and
Madison Cook each added two goals.
Emelia Boillat,
Maddi Scheipeter,
Olivia Collier,
Spud Ring and Brooke Elliot each chipped in one goal.
Boillat dished out a team-high four assists. Scheipeter collected a game-high five draw controls. Miller and Cook tied for the team lead in caused turnovers with three apiece.
With the win, Rockhurst improves to 8-6 on the season. The Hawks (4-2 RMAC) resume conference play Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., hosting no. 3 Lindenwood.
