The Rockhurst men collected a 4-3 victory over Newman Friday at the Clayview Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rockhurst swept the three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. The Hawks won three of the six singles matches. Tarass Thevenaz and Masao Perret both won three-set matches in No. 1 and 2 singles. Nicolas Leon won in No. 3 singles in two sets. Perret clinched the team win with his win in No. 2 singles.

The Rockhurst men (6-2) will play Northwood in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, March 13.
