The Rockhurst men's tennis team concluded their Florida Spring Break trip with a 7-0 victory over Hampden-Sydney College Friday at the USTA Training Center in Orlando, Florida.
The Hawks were victorious in all three doubles matches and swept the six singles matches, led by
Tarass Thevenaz and
Masao Perret in No. 1 and 2 singles.
Rockhurst opened the week with a 4-3 loss to Post University on Tuesday in Altamonte Park, Florida. The Hawks picked up a point in doubles with wins in No. 2 and 3 doubles. Thevenaz and
Ryan Moody were winners in No. 1 and 6 singles.
The Hawks fell to Northwood, 4-1, on Wednesday and lost to third-ranked St. Leo, 7-0, on Thursday. Thevenaz won his No. 1 singles match in three set against Northwood.
The Hawks (7-5) host Southwest Baptist on Wednesday afternoon.
