Balanced attack leads Hawks to 27-0 victory at home

Nine players scored multiple goals to lead the Rockhurst Hawks to a 27-0 victory over Adams State Monday night at Bourke Field.

The Hawks scored 10 goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and took a 17-0 lead into halftime.

Audrey Ford led the Hawks with five goals and one assist. Two of her goals came on free position shots. Helen Krause tallied four goals and one assist.

Maddi Scheipeter collected a team-high six draw controls and seven ground balls, in addition to scoring four goals and causing three turnovers. Logan Derosia totaled three goals, three ground balls and two draw controls.

Hannah Miller, Olivia Collier, Madison Cook, Marianna Anderson and Emelia Boillat each scored two goals. Hanna Meek and Anderson both had three draw controls.

The Hawks finished with 47 shots. Ford posted a team-high eight shots. Scheipeter collected seven shots and Krause added six shots.

Rockhurst (6-5, 3-1 RMAC) host nationally-ranked Regis on March 30.
