Rockhurst collected a season-high nine hits and five runs but could not overcome a three-run sixth inning by Ashland in falling to the Eagles, 7-5, Monday in the final game of a three-game series in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ashland jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and led 7-2 going into the bottom of the seventh. The Hawks scored three runs on three hits in the seventh.
Tyler Stamer posted an RBI double, Brant Callahan followed with a pinch-hit RBI single and
Nathan Mark drove in the third run with a single.
Mark led the Hawks with two hits.
Connor Ellefson drove in a run with a groundout in the fourth.
Tommy Kraus cut Ashland's lead to 3-2 with a sacrifice fly in the fifth.

Grant Ruediger (0-2) allowed two runs on five hits while striking out two in 3.1 innings.
