Five players scored in double figures to carry Rockhurst past Quincy, 71-50, Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.
Rockhurst (14-10, 8-6 GLVC) has won four consecutive games and remains in eighth place in the GLVC Point Rating System. The top eight teams in the GLVC advance to the conference tournament March 7-10 in Edwardsville, Illinois.
The Hawks outscored Quincy 39-22 in the second half after taking a four-point lead into halftime (32-28). Rockhurst made 55.2 percent of its shots (16 of 29) in the second half while holding Quincy to 28.6 percent (four of 14) in the final 20 minutes.
Nick Volz led the Hawks with 14 points (on seven-of-10 shooting), four rebounds and steals.
Curtis Lewis posted 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Eddie Muench collected 11 points (behind three 3-pointers) and three steals.
Chris Hamil added 11 points, while
Connor Evans tallied 10 points on four-of-four shooting and four rebounds.
Tyler Garrett posted a team-high five assists.
Rockhurst shot 50.0 percent from the field (29 of 58) and made eight of 21 three-point shots (38.1 percent).
Jah-Kobe Womack finished with 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Quincy (9-15, 3-11 GLVC). The Hawks shot 33.3 percent from the field (13 of 39).
