Rockhurst's Madeline Ronshausen has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.
The senior guard led the Hawks with a game-high 21 points in 28 minutes played in a 76-60 win over Avila Dec. 16. She added four rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
Ronshausen shot 8-for-13 (.620) from the field. She scored eight points in first quarter and six points in third period.
This is her first career GLVC Player of the Week award. Mary Dineen was the last Rockhurst student-athlete to receive GLVC Player of the Week honors in December of 2016.
