Verlicchi named to All-GLVC Second Team

Federico Verlicchi earned All-GLVC Second Team honors.

Junior midfielder Federico Verlicchi earned All-Conference honors for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Soccer season, it was announced by the league office.

Verlicchi was named to the All-GLVC Second Team. He scored seven points on three goals and one assist. He scored two goals, including the game-winning goal, in the Hawks' 3-2 win at Missouri S&T this season.

The league also recognized 16 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees and one Team award winner: William Jewell. Senior defender Preston Mboob is the honoree from Rockhurst. Mboob is now eligible to become one of RU's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
