No. 20 Hawks host two GLVC matches this weekend

The 20th-ranked Hawks host Missouri S&T and Maryville this weekend.

The Rockhurst Hawks are home at Mason-Halpin Field House this weekend for a pair of GLVC matches -- Friday vs. Missouri S&T (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday vs. Maryville (3:00 p.m.).

Coach Tracy Rietzke's team enters the weekend ranked 20th in the country with a record of 18-6 (6-1 GLVC). The Hawks have won back-to-back matches, sweeping Trevecca Nazarene and Ottawa in non-conference action.

Missouri S&T (17-5, 4-3 GLVC) has won six consecutive matches, including a 3-0 showing at the Midwest Region Crossover in Indianapolis, Indiana this past weekend.

Maryville enters the weekend at 6-17 on the season, seeking their first conference win.

Rockhurst ranks second in the GLVC in both team hitting percentage (.264) and kills per set (13.88). Individually, Mary Rolf ranks third in the league in hitting percentage at .371. Karli Reichert's 3.85 kills per set are fourth-best in the GLVC. Setter Dani Prusha ranks third in assists at 10.87 per set. Freshman libero Jadyn Makovicka's 4.47 digs per set are fifth-best in the league.
