Rockhurst faces final two home games

The Rockhurst men's soccer team closes out their home schedule at Bourke Field this weekend. The Hawks face Lewis on Friday night at 7:30 and Illinois Springfield on Senior Day Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Rockhurst (4-7-2, 4-6-1 GLVC) is coming off a 2-1 loss at Missouri-St. Louis last Sunday. The Hawks have gone winless over their last four games while being held to three goals.

Lewis (7-5-2, 4-5-2 GLVC) has dropped its last four games while being outscored 5-1. The Flyers have outscored their opponents 16-9.

The Hawks hold a 14-10-4 lead in the all-time series. The Hawks won 3-1 in Kansas City last year.

Illinois Springfield (5-7-2, 3-6-2 GLVC) is coming off a 1-0 loss at McKendree last Sunday. The Prairie Stars have been outscored 20-18 this season.

Since 2009, Rockhurst holds an 8-1-1 advantage over Springfield. The two teams played to a 0-0 tie last year in Kansas City.
