Hawks split final two matches in Crossover

The Rockhurst Hawks split their final two matches in the Midwest Region Crossover Saturday in Indianapolis, Indiana, defeating Trevecca Nazarene 3-0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-14) and falling to 13th-ranked Ferris State 3-2 (25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 23-25, 17-15).

Dani Prusha posted 34 assists and 13 digs to lead the 17th-ranked Hawks (17-6) past Trevecca Nazarene. Karli Reichert tallied 11 kills, seven digs and four blocks.

Audrey Arand also posted 11 kills with a .550 hitting percentage. Alyssa Woodman tallied eight kills with a .444 hitting percentage.

In the Hawks' first match on Saturday, Ferris State rallied to win the fifth set. The Bulldogs finished the match on a 9-3 run.

Reichert finished with 18 kills, nine digs and five blocks. Mary Rolf posted 14 kills and nine blocks. Arand tallied 13 kills, 17 digs and five blocks. Woodman added 13 kills and 11 digs.

Prusha collected 49 assists, 14 digs and five blocks. Jadyn Makovicka totaled 15 digs and eight assists.

• Five of the Hawks' six losses have been to nationally-ranked opponents.
• Head coach Tracy Rietzke increased his career wins total to 1,261. The all-time winningest coach in NCAA Division II ranks fourth in career wins for all three NCAA levels.
