The 11th-ranked Rockhurst Hawks (17-2, 8-1 GLVC) are riding an eight-match winning streak. They'll take the court at Mason-Halpin Field House three times this weekend – Friday at 7:00 p.m. vs. Truman State (15-3, 7-2 GLVC), and a doubleheader Saturday, 11:00 a.m. vs. Kentucky State (13-16) and 1:00 p.m. vs. Quincy (8-10, 2-7 GLVC).

The Hawks notched their eighth conference win Tuesday night at William Jewell. At 8-1 in GLVC play, they are currently tied for first place with Drury and Illinois Springfield.

Women's soccer, jockeying for position in GLVC race, hits the road
The Hawks (5-4-1, 4-2 GLVC) find themselves in a three-way tie for second place with Lewis and Truman State. McKendree and Bellarmine are tied for first at 4-1-1 in GLVC play. It is crowded at the top, but Coach Greg Herdlick has his team in the mix.

Rockhurst heads to William Jewell (6-4-1, 3-3 GLVC) Friday for a 5:00 p.m kickoff. Then they travel to Bellarmine (6-3-1, 4-1-1 GLVC) Sunday for an 11 a.m. (Central time) match.

Men's soccer looks to turn things around on the road
The Hawks (3-4-2, 2-2-2 GLVC) suffered their first conference losses of the season last weekend at Missouri-St. Louis and Missouri S&T. They look to get back in the win column Friday at William Jewell (4-6, 1-5 GLVC) at 7:30 p.m., and then head to Bellarmine (4-4-1, 3-2-1 GLVC) Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. (Central time) kickoff.

Rockhurst's next win will be the 700th of Coach Tony Tocco's remarkable career, which started at Rockhurst in 1970.

Tennis travels to Lindenwood

Cross Country races up to Lawrence
The Rockhurst women's cross country team is participating in the Haskell 5K Invitational in Lawrence, Kansas at 10 a.m. Saturday.
