Reichert powers Hawks to 3-0 win at Maryville

Karli Reichert posted 15 kills to power 23rd-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-0 win over Maryville (25-8, 25-19, 25-16) Saturday in St. Louis.

The Hawks (24-6, 12-4 GLVC) finished with 43 kills and a .327 hitting percentage. Emma Kriete collected nine kills and seven digs. Alyssa Woodman posted eight kills, seven digs and three blocks. Kalie Arnold collected a team-high 21 digs. Gabbie Inman and Dani Prusha combined for 38 assists.

Set One: Rockhurst 25, Maryville 8
The Hawks jumped to a 13-3 lead and did have an attack error in the set. Reichert and Woodman combined for eight kills.

Set Two: Rockhurst 25, Marvyille 19
Rockhurst close out set on a 7-3 run with Woodman posting two kills.

Set Three: Rockhurst 25, Maryville 16
The Hawks led 7-1 early and closed out the set on an 8-0 run. Reichert and Kriete combined for eight kills.

Player of the Match
Karli Reichert. The junior right side hitter only had four hitting errors while collecting a .344 hitting percentage. Six of her 15 kills came in the second set.
