Indianapolis rallies for 3-2 win over No. 14 Hawks

The Indianapolis Greyhounds rallied from a two-set deficit to edge 14th-ranked Rockhurst in five sets (14-25, 22-25, 25-23, 27-25, 15-13) Friday night in Indianapolis.

Karli Reichert tallied 18 kills and nine digs. Alyssa Woodman posted 14 kills and nine digs. Emma Kriete collected 14 kills and a .357 hitting percentage. Emily Matio had 12 kills and five blocks. Kalie Arnold finished with a team-high 31 digs. Dani Prusha tallied 60 assists and six digs.

Set One: Rockhurst 25, Indianapolis 14
The Hawks jumped out to an 11-3 run and eventually led 21-7. Matio tallied five kills and three blocks.

Set Two: Rockhurst 25, Indianapolis 22
Rockhurst ended the set on a 10-5 run to go up 2-0 in sets. Kriete, Reichert, Matio and Justice Wingate combined for 17 kills.

Set Three: Indianapolis 25, Rockhurst 23
The Greyhounds scored five of the last seven points to stay alive. Arnold posted eight digs and Kriete had five kills.

Set Four: Indianapolis 27, Rockhurst 25
The Hawks led 24-23 before Indy won the set with a 4-1 run. Arnold totaled 12 digs and Reichert tallied five kills.

Set Five: Indianapolis 15, Rockhurst 13
Indy never trailed after taking a 6-1 lead. The Hawks pulled with one point four times. Reichert and Woodman combined for six kills.
