Jackson nails 30-yard shot to give Hawks 2-1 overtime win

Kaleb Jackson scored the game-winning goal in overtime.
Box Score Kaleb Jackson made his first goal of the season a special one. The senior forward found the upper left corner from 30 yards out less than one minute into overtime to give Rockhurst a 2-1 victory over Lewis Friday night at Bourke Field.

Jackson's goal capped a comeback from a 1-0 halftime deficit. The Flyers scored the first goal of the night on a 25-yard shot off a free kick.

Junior forward Umoh Ufot tied the score in the 51st minute with a 10-yard shot into the back right corner off a pass from defender Luca Mastrantonio.

Rockhurst outshot Lewis, 16-4. Jackson led the Hawks with five shots and two shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Logan Feldmann made one save.

The Hawks, 2-0-1 and 1-0 in the GLVC, host Wisconsin-Parkside Sunday afternoon.
