Box Score Rockhurst scored two goals in the first 10 minutes on the way to a 4-0 victory over Lindenwood Tuesday at Bourke Field.
Junior forward
Umoh Ufot opened the scoring 71 seconds into the game for the 14th-ranked Hawks with an eight-yard shot off a left cross from
Michael Panarisi.
Panarisi scored eight minutes later on a 12-yard shot with assists from Adam Michal and
Connor Mullen.
Claudio Romano made it 3-0 with a 10-yard shot in the 28th minute, assisted by
Ben McDonald and
Sal Caruso.
Ufot capped the scoring with his second goal of the game early in the second half. Ufot dribbled past three defenders and drilled a shot from the top of the box past the Lindenwood keeper.
Rockhurst outshot Lindenwood, 21-1.
Kaleb Jackson and
Adam Michel led the Hawks with four shots apiece.
The Hawks, 1-0-1, open conference play at home on Friday against Lewis.
