Woodman leads Hawks to 3-0 win at William Jewell

Alyssa Woodman led the Hawks with 10 kills and 12 digs.

Box Score Alyssa Woodman posted her second double-double of the season to lead 25th-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory (25-12, 25-20, 25-14) over William Jewell Thursday night in Liberty, Missouri.

Woodman finished with 10 kills and 12 digs. The sophomore outside hitter capped the match with five kills and six digs in the third set. She now ranks sixth in the GLVC in kills per set (3.74).

Grace Carter tallied 26 assists, seven digs and six kills. Anne Hellwege had a team-high 23 digs. Lily Thornberg collected 10 assists and nine digs. Emily Matio and Mary Rolf combined for 11 blocks and nine kills. Karli Reichert added seven kills.

Rockhurst posted a .242 hitting percentage, while Jewell hit minus .033. The Hawks (7-2, 1-0 GLVC) play Lewis and Kentucky State on Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.
