No. 14 Hawks post 1-0 victory over Parkside

Box Score Rockhurst struck gold early in the second half to come away with a 1-0 victory over Wisconsin-Parkside Sunday at Bourke Field.

Junior forward Umoh Ufot scored his fourth goal and second game-winning goal of the season when he headed in a shot from two yards out in the 50th minute. Luca Mastrantonio set up the goal with a long pass to Kaleb Jackson, who tapped the ball to Ufot over the Parkside keeper toward the open net.

Rockhurst outshot Parkside, 21-4. Jackson led the 14th-ranked Hawks with five shots. Ufot added four shots and two shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Logan Feldmann made one save.

The Hawks, 3-0-1 and 2-0 in the GLVC, next play at Quincy on Friday.
