Rockhurst men ranked third in final national poll

The Rockhurst University men's soccer team finished the 2017 season ranked third in the final United Soccer Coaches Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll.

This marks the third year in a row that the Hawks have finished at No. 3 in the final poll. Rockhurst has now finished in the final Top 25 Poll 11 times since becoming an NCAA member institution in 1998. The Hawks have finished in the Top 10 in six of the past seven seasons.

Rockhurst finished the season with an 16-2-3 record. The Hawks advanced to the national championships in Kansas City before falling to Lynn University in a shootout in the national semifinals on November 30 at Swope Park Soccer Village
