Hawks rally for 3-2 victory over William Jewell

Anne Hellwege led the Hawks with 21 digs.

Box Score Rockhurst rallied to win the last two sets in posting a 3-2 victory over William Jewell Tuesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks used a 6-1 run to win the fourth set, 25-21. Rockhurst rolled to a 15-9 win in the fifth set. Jewell won the first and third sets, 25-22 and 25-19, while the Hawks captured the second set, 25-14.

Alyssa Woodman led the Hawks with 17 kills and 11 digs. Karli Reichert tallied 16 kills, including six kills in the final two sets.

Grace Carter collected 34 assists, 17 digs and eight kills. Dani Prusha added 20 assists and 11 digs. Anne Hellwege led the Hawks with 21 digs.

The Hawks (22-6, 10-4 GLVC) travel to Truman State Friday night.
