Strong hitting carries Hawks to 3-0 win over Ottawa

Kalie Arnold posted double-digits in digs for the ninth time this season.

Box Score Rockhurst posted a .327 hitting percentage in rolling to a 3-0 victory over the Ottawa Braves Tuesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks won the first two sets, 25-16 and 25-14. Rockhurst held off Ottawa to win the third set, 25-23.

Alyssa Woodman led the Hawks with 14 kills with a .448 hitting percentage. Karli Reichert tallied 13 kills and three blocks. Mary Rolf added eight kills and three blocks.

Anne Hellwege and Kalie Arnold each finished with 15 digs. Dani Prusha tallied 34 assists.

Head coach Tracy Rietzke will be seeking his 1,200th career victory Friday night when the Hawks (19-6, 7-4 GLVC) host Wisconsin-Parkside Friday night.
