Hawks capture sixth GLVC regular season crown

Kaleb Jackson scored two goals and leads the Hawks with 10 goals this season.

Box Score The Rockhurst men's soccer team added another conference title to the record books. The Hawks posted a 3-1 victory at Indianapolis on Sunday to capture their third consecutive and sixth overall Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season title.

Kaleb Jackson scored two goals and Adam Michel notched his fifth game-winning goal to give the second-ranked Hawks their 12th win of the season.

The road victory also gives head coach Tony Tocco his 692nd career win (tied for most career wins among men's college soccer coaches).

Jackson tied the score in the 17th minute and added his second goal in the 84th minute. The senior forward leads the Hawks with 10 goals on the season. Michel scored his seventh goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 34th minute.

Rockhurst outshot the Greyhounds, 11-9. Jackson led the Hawks with three shots. Michel and Umoh Ufot added two shots apiece. Logan Feldmann finished with four saves.

The Hawks, now 12-1-2 overall and first in the GLVC at 11-1-1, end the regular season at Illinois Springfield on Wednesday.
