Fourth-ranked Hawks blank McKendree, 3-0

Tony Tocco won his 690th game at Rockhurst's head coach, tied for most career wins among all men's college soccer coaches.
Box Score Kaleb Jackson scored three points to lead fourth-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over McKendree Friday night at Bourke Field.

The victory moves legendary Rockhurst coach Tony Tocco into a tie with Ohio Wesleyan's Jay Martin for most career wins among all men's college soccer coaches with 690 wins.

Jackson gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 17th minute. The senior forward scored his team-high seventh goal of the season on a 12-yard shot with an assist from Umoh Ufot.

Adam Michel bombed in a shot from 18 yards in the 54th minute to the put Rockhurst in front 2-0. The goal was set up from a throw-in by Filippo Santandrea and cross by Jackson.

Ben McDonald wrapped up the scoring with his first goal of the season. The senior midfielder knocked in a shot from 15 yards out in the 71st minute.

Rockhurst outshot the Bearcats, 19-4. Adam Michel led the Hawks with seven shots and two shots on goal. Michael Panarisi and Jackson added three shots apiece.

The Hawks, 10-0-2 and first in the GLVC at 9-0-1, host Southern Indiana on Sunday afternoon.
