Rockhurst posts 3-0 win over Springfield

Box Score Rockhurst posted a .338 hitting percentage in rolling to a 3-0 victory over Illinois Springfield Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks held Springfield to 44 points in securing 25-15, 25-17 and 25-12 wins. The Prairie Stars finished with a .000 hitting percentage.

Morgan Rietzke led the Hawks with nine kills with a .292 hitting percentage. Alyssa Woodman posted eight kills, six digs and three blocks.

Mattie Gray and Mary Rolf combined for 14 kills and four blocks. Lily Thornberg tallied 21 assists and nine digs. Anne Hellwege had a team-high 10 digs. Grace Carter added 10 assists.

The Hawks (9-4, 3-1 GLVC) next play at Truman State on Friday, September 30.
