Hawks post 19-1 victory over Ottawa

Box Score Eight different players scored goals to lead Rockhurst to a 19-1 victory over Ottawa Monday night at Bourke Field.

Lily Molina paced the Rockhurst offense with four goals and two assists. Madeline Gilstrap posted four goals and one assist. Molina and Gilstrap combined for four goals and three assists to lead the Hawks to an 11-0 halftime lead.

Shayna Stevens and Hannah Weisbrod each finished with three goals. Madison Naes added two goals and one assist. Tessa Boots, Maddi Scheipeter and Tierney Buschbacher each tallied one goal. Hannah Meek tallied two assists.

Rockhurst finished with 37 shots and 29 shots on goal. Gilstrap led the Hawks with seven shots. Stevens collected six shots. Molina, Weisbrod and Scheipeter each had five shots. Natalie Washington made two saves to collect her first win of the season. Kathy Perkins posted three saves in the second half.

The Hawks (1-1) will play at McKendree on Saturday, February 27.
