Rockhurst Postgame Quotes

Head Coach Tony Tocco

"The kids gave it everything they had. Charleston was better than us in ball possession, but we had our opportunities to score. Giorgio (Antongirolami) prepared us very well for Charleston."

Associate Head Coach Giorgio Antongirolami
"Their goalkeeper made some great saves, but so did ours. They were better than us on their crosses. It was nice to play in front of a lot of fans."

Senior forward Mitch Moncada
"Last year was a surprise when we reached the final four. Everybody felt this was our year. We felt that anything can happen at this point."

Senior defender Evan Craig
"It came down to six minutes. We had a defensive breakdown in that span, but both of their goals were off good balls. I thought everybody played to their best of their ability. It hurts as a senior to lose this game."
