Rietzke rallies Hawks to 3-1 win at Missouri S&T

Morgan Rietzke led the Hawks with 21 kills, 11 digs and five blocks.

Box Score Morgan Rietzke posted her ninth double-double of the season to rally Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over Missouri S&T Friday night in Rolla, Missouri.

The Hawks dropped the first set and then overcame a 24-20 deficit to win the second set, 26-24. Rockhurst won the next two sets, 25-20 and 25-13.

Rietzke led the Hawks with 21 kills, 11 digs and five blocks. Mattie Gray collected 17 kills. Alyssa Woodman tallied 11 kills and 12 digs. Anne Hellwege and Kalie Arnold combined for 50 digs. Lily Thornberg posted 25 assists and 17 digs. Grace Carter added 22 assists.

The Hawks (13-4, 7-1 GLVC) play at Drury on Saturday, October 8.
