Hawks hit .317 in 3-0 victory over William Jewell

Maddie Gray led the Hawks with 14 kills.

Box Score Rockhurst posted a .317 hitting percentage in rolling to a 3-0 victory over William Jewell Tuesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks won the first set, 25-18, behind 12 kills from Mattie Gray and Morgan Rietzke. Gray collected six more kills in a 25-14 win in the second set. Mary Rolf and Payton Chohon combined for eight kills in a 25-19 win in the third set.

Gray led the Hawks with 14 kills with a .385 hitting percentage. Rietzke had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs. Rolf and Alyssa Woodman each tallied nine kills. Anne Hellwege had a team-high 17 digs. Lily Thornberg finished with 26 assists and 16 digs. Grace Carter added 17 assists.

The Hawks (12-4, 6-1 GLVC) play at Missouri S&T on Friday, October 7.
