Hawks capture 12th consecutive victory

Box Score The Rockhurst Hawks captured their 12th consecutive match Saturday to remain undefeated in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Anne Hellwege collected a team-high 18 digs to lead 13th-ranked Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory (25-9, 25-18, 25-18) over McKendree in Lebanon, Ill.

The Hawks, 13-1 and 4-0 in the GLVC, only made 11 hitting errors while posting a .304 hitting percentage. McKendree was held to an .098 hitting percentage.

Preecy Seever, Morgan Rietzke, Mattie Gray and Alyssa Arnold led the Hawks with seven kills apiece. Seever had a team-high five blocks while Arnold added 15 digs. Whitney Kostal tallied 31 assists.
