Box Score Rockhurst remained unbeaten on the season after posting a 3-1 victory over Southern Indiana Friday night at Bourke Field.

The seventh-ranked Hawks are now the lone unbeaten team in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 5-0 record.

Claudio Romano opened the scoring with his fifth goal of the season in the 31st minute. Romano scored on a 10-yard shot off a corner kick from Gianluci Bottoni.

Mitch Moncada tallied his first goal of the season in the 40th minute to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead. Moncada scored from 12 yards out with assists from Ben McDonald and Connor Mullen.
Kaleb Jackson made it 3-0 with a nine-yard shot early in the second half with an assist from Adam Michel.

Rockhurst outshot the Eagles, 18-9. Jackson led the Hawks with four shots and two shots on goal. Romano and Moncada each had three shots. Logan Feldmann posted three saves.

The Hawks, 5-0-1, host second-place Bellarmine on Sunday afternoon.
