Dean named NSCAA First Team All-American

Paul Dean led the Hawks in minutes played.

Rockhurst junior defender Paul Dean was named a First Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Dean helped lead the Hawks to the NCAA national semifinals in Pensacola, Florida and a No. 5 national ranking, in addition to winning the Great Lakes Valley Conference and NCAA Midwest Region championships. Dean led the Hawks in minutes played (2,151), while scoring nine points on four goals and one assist.

The NSCAA All-American teams are voted on by the NCAA Division II men's soccer coaches.
