Box Score Seventh-ranked Rockhurst posted its 10th shutout of the season in blanking William Jewell 1-0 in the final game of the regular season Wednesday night at Bourke Field.

The Hawks finished in first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 13-1-1 league record. Rockhurst, 13-1-2 overall, will host Southern Indiana in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Mitch Moncada scored his team-high sixth goal of the season 13 minutes into the game. He scored on a 10-yard shot off a left cross from Kaleb Jackson. Nick Caruso also assisted on the play.

Rockhurst outshot Jewell, 23-10. Gianluca Bottoni led the Hawks with six shots and two shots on goal. Adam Michel collected four shots and Jake Peters added three shots. Logan Feldmann finished with three saves.
