Box Score The Rockhurst men's soccer team posted their fifth overtime win of the season on Sunday. Sophomore forward
Kaleb Jackson's third game-winning goal of the season gave the 12th-ranked Hawks a 1-0 victory over Wisconsin-Parkside in Somers, Wis.
Jackson drilled the game-winner on a rebound shot from 12 yards out with 54 seconds left in the second overtime. Jackson now shares the team lead with five goals.
Rockhurst outshot UW-Parkside, 30-6.
Adam Michel paced the Hawks with eight shots and four shots on goal.
Jake Peters and
Gianluca Bottoni each posted four shots.
Mitch Moncada added three shots on goal. Jackson and
Paul Dean also finished with three shots.
The Hawks, 12-1-2 overall and 12-1-1 in league play, close out the regular season at home against William Jewell on Wednesday night. Rockhurst will be the No. 1 seed in the GLVCÂ Tournament and host a quarterfinal round game on Sunday, Nov. 1.
