Box Score Junior defender Paul Dean scored his second goal of the season to lead 22nd-ranked Rockhurst to a 1-0 victory over Missouri-St. Louis Sunday at Bourke Field. The Hawks remain in first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with an 8-1-1 record.

A header from six yards out by Dean in the 59th minute found the back left corner of the goal. Sal Caruso and Adam Michel assisted on the game-winning goal.

Rockhurst outshot UMSL, 15-10. Adam Michel posted a team-high four shots. Mitch Moncada and Chi Ngwefang each finished with two shots. Sophomore goalkeeper Logan Feldmann made two saves.

The Hawks, 8-1-2 overall, host Indianapolis on Friday.
