Hawks fall in overtime to Lewis on own goal

Kaleb Jackson scored his second goal of the season in the second half.
Box Score Rockhurst suffered its first loss at home this season, falling to Lewis 2-1 in overtime Sunday at RU's Bourke Field. The winning goal was an own goal in front of the net off a Lewis corner kick with 2:44 left in overtime.

Freshman Kaleb Jackson game the Hawks a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 55th minute. Freshman Adam Michel assisted on Jackson's goal. Lewis tied the score eight minutes later on a free kick from 40 yards out.

The Hawks outshot Lewis 16-12. Chi Ngwefang and Michel led the Hawks with three shots apiece. Senior goalkeeper Stefano Radio posted six saves.

Rockhurst (3-2, 3-1 GLVC) travels to Missouri-St. Louis and Maryville next weekend.
