Hawks pull out 1-0 win in overtime at Indy

Stefano Radio shut out Indianapolis while making five saves.
Box Score Freshman forward Kaleb Jackson tallied his first collegiate goal with 2:37 left in the second overtime to give Rockhurst a 1-0 victory over Indianapolis Sunday in Indianapolis. The Hawks (2-1 overall) remain unbeaten at 2-0 in the GLVC.

Jackson dribbled the ball into the box and placed his shot over the Indy keeper's head to end the game. Freshman midfielder Adam Michel was credited with the assist after heading the ball to Jackson.

The Greyhounds won the shot battle by a 24-11 margin, though the Hawks outshot Indy 5-2 in overtime. Sophomore forward Michael Panarisi led the Hawks with five shots. Michel added three shots. Senior goalkeeper Stefano Radio made five saves to post his second shutout of the weekend.

Rockhurst returns home to host Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, Sept. 19.
