Box Score Rockhurst rallied to win the last two sets to pull out a 3-2 victory over Drury Saturday on Senior Day at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks ended the match on an 8-2 run to win the fifth set, 17-15.
The Hawks won the first set, 25-13, before dropping the second and third sets (25-22 and 25-21). Rockhurst evened the match at 2-2 with a 25-17 win in the fourth set.
Alyssa Arnold led the Hawks with 18 kills, including five in the fifth set, in addition to collecting 23 digs.
Preecy Seever posted a team-high 19 kills.
Morgan Rietzke tallied 15 kills and 14 digs.
Anne Hellwege tallied a season-high 33 digs.
Whitney Kostal finished with 64 assists.
Maggie Hummel totaled 11 kills and
Lauren Poulicek added 21 digs.
Rockhurst (25-3, 16-2 GLVC) close out the regular season at home against Northwest Oklahoma State on Tuesday. The Hawks finished second in the GLVC West and will play McKendree in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament on Thursday.
