Box Score Kendall Hart and Darby Price came off the bench to combine for 21 points and 19 rebounds to lead Rockhurst to a 63-59 victory Northeastern State in the Doubletree-Houlihans Thanksgiving Classic Friday night at the O'Reilly Event Center in Springfield, Mo.

Hart posted 11 points (behind three 3-pointers) and nine rebounds, while Price tallied 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Hawks dominated the boards 50-26, while scoring 15 second-chance points.

The Hawks led 31-24 at halftime behind the play of freshman point guard Jillian Myers, who collected nine points and four rebounds in the first half. Myers finished with 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Mary Dineen scored 11 points and Laura Wilson added nine rebounds.

Rockhurst shot 35.4 percent from the field (23 of 65) and 83.3 percent from the foul line (10 of 12). Northeastern State outscored the Hawks 26-20 in the paint while shooting 41.4 percent from the field (24 of 58).

The Hawks (2-2) will play 10th-ranked Pittsburg State Saturday night in Springfield, Mo.
